Description of Course
Microsoft Office Suite is a 2-credit course designed to provide an orientation to the Windows XP environment and teach fundamentals of Microsoft Office 2007 Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
This is a 100% online course with an optional f2f meeting time in the Open Lab. The entire course can be completed online working at your own pace. This course allows for hands-on practice in managing E-mail and contacts, creating documents, spreadsheets, databases, web pages, Blogs, and designing and sharing presentation documents.
Please let me share some of the objectives, activities, and assessment tools I have chosen to make learning more meaningful. I have designed these activities as an authentic way to practice the fundamentals of Microsoft Office. I hope you will find my course design offers creative ways to reflect and share knowledge with peers, develop problem solving skills, and participate in activities that hold a special meaning for you.
